Shipping Policy

At AERO101, we are committed to delivering innovation globally with safety, compliance, and speed. All shipments are processed in line with DGFT Export-Import Regulations, Indian Customs Laws, and International Trade Policies to ensure smooth, transparent, and legal delivery to our customers.

1. Global Shipping Coverage

1.1. AERO101 ships to India and worldwide, covering over 180 countries.
1.2. All exports are processed in compliance with DGFT export licensing requirements, if applicable.
1.3. Certain restricted or controlled items (e.g., advanced drones, dual-use electronics) may require special export permits under DGFT and destination country import laws.

 

2. Order Processing Time

2.1. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
2.2. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
2.3. In case of export license/clearance requirements, additional time may be required as per DGFT and Customs regulations.

3. Shipping Methods & Carriers

3.1. We partner with leading logistics providers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Blue Dart, India Post EMS, and others).
3.2. Customers may select Standard Shipping, Express Shipping, or Freight Forwarding (for bulk orders).
3.3. All shipments are governed by INCOTERMS 2020 standards for international trade.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

4.1. All international orders are subject to customs clearance at the destination country.
4.2. Import duties, VAT, GST, or local taxes (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.
4.3. AERO101 ensures correct documentation (Invoice, Packing List, HS Codes, DGFT Declarations, etc.) to support customs clearance.
4.4. If customs regulations in the customer’s country prohibit import of a product, the customer must ensure compliance before placing the order.

5. Restricted & Regulated Products

5.1. Products falling under DGFT-restricted categories (e.g., drones above certain weights, satellite components, aerospace-grade sensors) may require export authorization.
5.2. Shipments of lithium batteries, chemicals, or hazardous goods comply with IATA, ICAO, and IMDG regulations for air and sea transport.
5.3. AERO101 reserves the right to cancel or hold an order if it violates export/import laws.

6. Delivery Timelines

6.1. Estimated timelines:

  • Domestic (India): 3–7 business days.

  • International Standard: 7–15 business days.

  • International Express: 3–7 business days.

6.2. Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance delays or trade restrictions in the destination country.

 

7. Tracking & Notifications

7.1. Customers will receive a tracking number and link once the order is shipped.
7.2. Tracking updates depend on carrier systems and may vary in frequency.

 

8. Risk of Loss & Insurance

8.1. All shipments are packed securely to prevent damage.
8.2. Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package is handed to the shipping carrier (as per INCOTERMS).
8.3. Insurance coverage is available upon request and highly recommended for high-value or bulk shipments.

9. Failed Deliveries & Returns

9.1. If delivery is refused, delayed due to unpaid customs duties, or returned due to incorrect address, the customer will bear re-shipping or return costs.
9.2. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only after the returned package is received and inspected.

10. Compliance with Laws

10.1. AERO101 strictly adheres to DGFT Export Policy, Indian Customs Act, Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and international trade laws.
10.2. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with import laws of their country.
10.3. We reserve the right to deny shipment of any product restricted under Indian or International Trade Regulations.

11. Policy Updates

11.1. This Shipping Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in DGFT notifications, government regulations, or international trade norms.
11.2. Updated policies will be posted on the official AERO101 website.

Export Compliance Disclaimer

AERO101 delivers globally with trust, transparency, and compliance. Your cooperation ensures smooth delivery and adherence to international trade standards.

1. Regulatory Compliance

  • All international shipments are subject to the Export-Import (EXIM) Policy of India, DGFT regulations, Indian Customs Act, and applicable international trade laws.

  • Certain items (e.g., drones, aerospace-grade electronics, sensors, lithium batteries, chemicals, defense-related products) may require special permits or licenses.

 

2. Import Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with the import laws, duties, taxes, and restrictions of their destination country.

  • AERO101 will not be held liable if customs authorities seize, delay, or return shipments due to import restrictions.

 

3. Duties, Taxes & Fees

  • Any customs duties, VAT/GST, or local import taxes imposed at the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

  • AERO101 does not include these charges in product or shipping costs unless explicitly mentioned.

 

4. Restricted Goods

  • Products falling under DGFT-restricted categories or Wassenaar Arrangement/dual-use items may not be shipped without prior clearance.

  • Customers must verify whether their purchase is allowed in their country before placing an order.

 

5. Risk of Seizure or Delay

  • AERO101 is not responsible for delays, penalties, or confiscation of goods arising from regulatory non-compliance at the buyer’s end.

  • Insurance for international shipments is available on request and recommended for high-value orders.

 

6. Customer Agreement

  • By placing an international order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by all applicable export/import regulations.

  • The customer further agrees to provide any documentation required for customs clearance or regulatory compliance.

Return & Exchange Policy

At AERO101, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase. While we ensure the highest quality standards, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be necessary. This policy explains the conditions under which items may be returned or exchanged, both within India and for international customers.

1. Eligibility for Return & Exchange

1.1. Products are eligible for return or exchange if:

  • They arrive damaged during shipping.

  • They are defective or non-functional.

  • An incorrect item was delivered (different model/product from your order).

1.2. To qualify:

  • Items must be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.

  • Products must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories/manuals intact.

1.3. Items not eligible for return/exchange include:

  • Opened consumables (3D printing filaments, resins, adhesives, etc.).

  • Software licenses, digital downloads, or e-books.

  • Customized, special-order, or bulk wholesale items.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or unauthorized modification.

 

2. Domestic (India) Returns & Exchanges

2.1. Customers must raise a request with Order ID & product details via Customer Care within 7 days.
2.2. A return shipping label or courier instructions will be provided after approval.
2.3. Upon inspection:

  • Exchange: A replacement unit will be shipped.

  • Return: A refund will be initiated to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

 

3. International Returns & Exchanges

3.1. Customers outside India may return or exchange items, provided their country’s import/export laws allow re-import.
3.2. Return shipping, customs duties, and clearance charges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the error is from AERO101.
3.3. Refunds or exchanges will be processed only after:

  • The item is received at AERO101,

  • Cleared by Indian Customs & DGFT compliance,

  • Inspected and approved by our team.

3.4. Processing timelines may take 10–15 business days depending on international banking and customs.

 

4. Exchange Process

4.1. Exchanges are allowed for the same product model (in case of defect/damage).
4.2. If the requested product is out of stock, customers may:

  • Wait for restock, or

  • Opt for a refund instead.

 

5. Cancellations

5.1. Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if they have not yet been shipped.
5.2. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible and the return/exchange process must be followed.

 

6. Non-Delivery or Customs Issues

6.1. If a package is refused, returned due to unpaid duties, or an incorrect address, re-shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
6.2. Refunds in such cases will be made after deducting actual shipping and customs expenses.
6.3. AERO101 is not responsible for products seized or restricted by foreign customs.

 

7. Warranty Coverage (if applicable)

7.1. Some products may carry a manufacturer’s warranty.
7.2. Warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer unless explicitly covered by AERO101.
